Review: Design talk No.3

BDIA & Continental met for their third design talk in the JAZ Stuttgart. Designed and planned by the interior design firm Geplan, Stuttgart, the 18-storey building is not only the tallest hotel in Stuttgart’s inner city, but also has an impressive interior. Project manager, Patrick Wiest (Geplan), and lighting designer, Uli Jetzt, took the members of the BDIA Baden Württemberg on a tour through the various floors of the Steigenberger JAZ, which opened at the beginning of the year. The attractive industry event made valuable points with the Chamber of Architects on behalf of the participants.

We, Ramona Oudille, Architect Relations Manager, and Steffen Peuker, Sales Manager of the Continental surface specialist, were involved with the project during the planning phase and are still thrilled by the use of our skai materials in the restaurant and foyer area.

Together with the planners and around 30 guests, we explored the floors and enjoyed an enthusiastic discourse on the topics of design & interior decorating. The small, intimate circle of participants made a very personal and open exchange possible. We were happy to have been able to maintain this format and look forward to more exciting projects, which we will present during the next design talk.

We would also like to once again thank Patrick Wiest and Uli Jetzt for their fascinating contributions!
