Hornschuch at Seatrade 2017

In March 2016, Hornschuch participated in Seatrade Cruise Global 2016 for the first time. In sunny Florida, the surface specialist presented its unique skai® materials and demonstrated its potential for maritime interiors in the German Pavilion. After this great success, the surface specialist decided to participate in 2017 again.

skai® artificial leather

The innovative surfaces of skai® grace some of the largest, most modern, and newest cruise ships in the world. High-quality upholstery materials give furniture and walls more comfort and coziness. Naturally, the artificial leather materials meet the flame retardancy standard IMO FTPC P8 that is common in the cruise ship industry. In the area of wear behavior, lightfastness, and ease of care, skai® products also achieved excellent ratings and are therefore excellently suited for use in the cruise ship industry. Especially in interior design, all kinds of furniture, as well as wall coverings and bed headboards, should match the overall concept. Proven skai® upholstery materials offer a multitude of structures and colors, which are used in cabins, bars, or restaurants. The trendy designs of the skai® upholstery materials make a major contribution to onboard comfort. They are available in classic as well as extravagant designs.

Metal lamination film skai® designline FR puts to sea

In addition to fascinating upholstery materials, Hornschuch has also packed the very robust metal lamination film skai® designline FR. The high-quality film, especially when used as a wall covering in cabins, corridors, conference rooms, and lounges onboard, will cause a stir.
